At its core, the V8stealthbeetle is powered by a roaring Chevrolet LS3 6.2l engine mated to the competition proven Getrag 6 speed manual transaxle. This mid-mounted configuration provides an optimal weight distribution (45-55% front rear split) for exceptional balance and handling, translating to pure, exhilarating performance on the street or track.

Our bespoke 5182/5083 spec aluminum chassis is the backbone of the V8stealthbeetle. TIG-welded and engineered for extreme rigidity, it provides a stable and secure platform that weighs in at around 200lbs (100kgs), ensuring a superior power-to-weight ratio.

We painstakingly restore an original VW Beetle body and seamlessly integrate it with our modern chassis. This preserves the timeless aesthetic while providing a unique and captivating exterior that turns heads wherever it goes. Always a winner at ‘Cars & Coffee’ events and car shows.

Full Vehicle
Ready to drive, this complete vehicle boasts a Chevy LS3 6.2l V8 with a Getrag 6 speed manual transmission. We use OEM key components, including suspension, brakes and steering. Your vehicle will be unique and personalized with a variety of options and extras.

Full Roller
This option gives you a full vehicle, without the engine, ECU or transaxle. Perfect, if you want to add your own LS1, LS2 or LS3 and Getrag 6 speed manual transaxle. You are supplied with the adaptor plate, double clutch and pressure plate as well as all the items you will need when placing the engine behind the driver. The body is supplied in showroom condition, having around 200 man hours of work restoring it with at least 6 layers of paint and lacquer of your choice applied.

Rolling Chassis
This option gives you a rolling chassis, with all of the components fitted, including the wiring loom. You will need to source and prepare your own donor body, as well as an engine and transaxle. You are supplied with video instruction on how to cut and prepare the body. Perfect if you have access to an original VW Beetle body.

Chassis & Components
Are you handy with a set of tools and always dreamt of building your own mid engined V8 powered Bug? Then this is your option. You receive the completed chassis and engine cradle along with all of the components. You assemble them yourself. Add wheels, interior trim, engine, transaxle and body, et voila… You get video instruction on assembly and body prep and you get whatsapp access to our family of builders including Jean and Pierre. This means you are not alone, wherever in the world your garage is.
