How are the vehicle kits shipped, and who handles import/customs?
The kits are engineered and crated for efficient shipping. We will provide detailed logistics support, but as the distributor, you will typically be responsible for the final cost and management of freight, duties, and customs clearance into your operating country. This cost should be factored into your local pricing structure.
Is the 3L Engineering and Design Distributor model a franchise?
No. Our model is a strategic B2B partnership. We are not selling a business operation or franchise rights; we are providing you with an exclusive, market-differentiating product line (the V8stealthbeetle kit) and the official accreditation to assemble and sell it. You retain full control over your existing business operations.
What are the discounts, and how is the Distributor pricing structured?
We operate on a Tiered Wholesale Discount Structure designed to reward volume and commitment. The more kits you commit to, the higher your profit margin:

What does the initial Accreditation Fee cover?
The fee is a single investment that provides you with everything needed to launch your partnership, including:
- Administrative, legal, and contract setup costs.
- Access to our technical documents, manuals, videos and IP.
- Your initial digital marketing kit (high-res assets, brand guide).
- The cost of travel, accommodation, and time for Jean (Engineering) and Doug (Marketing) to visit your facility and complete the official Certification and accreditation.
What does your Ideal Distributor Profile (ICP) look for?
We are looking for established businesses with proven expertise, including:
- Established Automotive Shops: Restoration shops or custom car builders.
- Technical Expertise: Experience in chassis work, engine swaps (e.g., LS swaps), and high-quality fabrication.
- Facility: Adequate workshop space and professional tools to handle high-end kit and vehicle assembly.
- Customer Base: A clientele with the means and interest in purchasing a premium, high-performance one of a kind V8stealthbeetle.

What is the process for becoming an accredited distributor?
The process is designed to ensure quality and commitment:
- Application: Complete the comprehensive application form on our website.
- Qualification: We review your business model, facilities, and experience to ensure you meet our Ideal Distributor Profile (ICP).
- Onboarding & Fee: Sign the partnership agreement and pay the Initial Accreditation Fee (which covers your training, collateral, and the cost of the final certification trip).
- Certification: Order and assemble your first kit. We will travel to your workshop for the final inspection and official sign-off and accreditation.
Why is an in-person, on-site certification required by Jean?
This is the cornerstone of our brand quality. The in-person visit allows Jean to:
- Verify the build quality of your first assembly.
- Provide on-site technical coaching and knowledge transfer.
- Ensure your facility and processes align with the V8stealthbeetle’s high standards.
- This certification grants you the official right to market yourself as an Accredited V8stealthbeetle Assembler and Distributor
Will you help us with marketing?
Yes. You will receive an Onboarding Kit with high-resolution photos, videos, and a brand guide. Additionally, Doug, our Marketing Director, will film the certification of your first build to create a “Distributor Spotlight” video for our global social channels, which you can use for your own local marketing to generate social proof and leads. Leads captured by our international marketing will be passed onto the relevant Distributor.
